'Tis the season
Every fall, you’ll find me on the struggle bus when it comes to updating our family photos. I know, I’m a photographer. This should be easy. But let me tell you, I understand it’s not. Finding time between naps, school, soccer, ballet, etc. where everyone one will cooperate is virtually impossible. And to do it in tastefully coordinated but not overly match-y outfits? Are you serious?
This is the main reason I offer mini sessions. I get it. It’s tough with littles, especially because their attention span is usually that of a butterfly. But family photos can also be fun, especially in the right environment. Christmas Tree Farm sessions are actually some of my favorite sessions of the year. They can vary so much with light, clouds, time of day and even wardrobe selection. But regardless of all of those elements, they can be beautiful, memorable photos that capture your family’s personality.
